Choosing a keyboard size starts with your desk and your work. Compact boards give you more mouse room, while TKL and 75 percent boards keep useful keys close without taking over the desk.
If you use spreadsheets or numbers all day, a 96 percent or full-size board still makes sense. If you mostly write, browse, code, or game, 65 percent and 75 percent layouts are usually easier to live with.
The best layout is the one that removes friction from your day, not the one with the most keys.
